Description of the accommodation

The Hostería Real de Zamora is located in the historic center of the city, next to the Romanesque stone bridge. It is a hotel located in the so-called Palace of the Inquisition, a 16th-century Renaissance building, built on an important Jewish house of which the Mikve or Jewish Bath is preserved. It was built by Don Francisco de Villacís y Ponce de León, first Count of Villaflor and Minister of the Council of the Indies, President of the House of Trade and Councilor of Toledo, Segovia and Madrid. The building has a cloistered courtyard, Gothic sculptures, Baroque and Renaissance paintings. In addition, it has a garden located next to the medieval wall of Zamora. The Hostería Real de Zamora has a cloistered courtyard, garden terrace, bar-cafeteria, reading room and 24-hour reception. The rooms have air conditioning, heating, flat-screen TV and private bathroom with bathtub.
