Beschreibung der Unterkunft

Doolin Inn: The warmth, personal attention, and homely-charm of a modern country house, combined with the professional and seamless service of a hotel – this is Doolin Inn, your home in the heart of Doolin. From a hearty healthy breakfast to set you up for the day, a delicious meal in Anthony's, our evening restaurant, to a beautifully-appointed bedroom with everything you need, and the friendly advice of people who really know Doolin. We’ve worked hard to make sure Doolin Inn has just the character we want: the wonderful comfortable charm of a country inn, combined with all the facilities and must-haves of a good hotel. Our guests love the friendly service and warmth that makes them feel like a guest in our home – yet appreciate the standard of rooms and amenities that are always of hotel quality. It’s about relaxation, rejuvenation – and relying on the fact that we’ll do everything we can to deliver on your dream. Location: From traditional music and trail-walking to outdoor adventure sports and a cornucopia of culture – you’ve got it all right here in Doolin. Ours is a small West coast village with a mighty big heart – and from the moment you arrive and feel the fresh Atlantic breeze on your face, you’ll want to get out there and start discovering. Caving, cycling, surfing, hiking, horse-riding and so much more are all part of this special experience. We’re home to one of Ireland’s most famous signature points – the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher, The Burren and a gateway to the Aran Islands, for a taste of old Ireland at its most beautiful. Our guests can enjoy discounted rates on a selection of local activities and attractions that we are partnered with. Come & explore. Rooms: The Doolin Inn has 22 modern non-smoking rooms of different sizes, and all with private bathrooms. We’ve made sure our hotel experience and world travels have translated into providing the kind of rooms our guests want: a cosy bed for a great night’s sleep, quality furnishings in warm, relaxing tones and many additional conveniences. Since 2012 we have continually refurbished, developed, and designed our rooms to exceed our guests’ expectations and constantly strive to be our best. All rooms have beautiful views of the village, terrace, gardens, and the Aille River. Look out to the sea or across the green fields towards the valley behind us. Our only nearest neighbours are those that chew the cud and with 360 degrees of views to choose from, we are spoilt for choice. Doubles, Twins, Family Rooms available. Big Burren Breakfast: Each morning you’ll look forward to coming down to a delicious continental 2-tier breakfast tea stand (served to your table), followed by the option to order from our cooked breakfast menu. Tea or coffee orders will also be taken at your table and will be freshly brewed for you. The emphasis is on great home-baking, locally-produced ingredients and traditional Irish recipes that have been passed down through the Moloney family. Think rich and fruity soda breads, warm fluffy scones, farm-fresh eggs, traditionally-cured bacon, poached fruits, and fresh juices. Our emphasis is always on healthy options and slow-burning foods that will sustain you through your day of discovery. Dining: Our new 50 seater evening restaurant is bright and spacious and overlooks the village and out to sea – the terrace is a particularly special setting on a summer’s evening. We expect all our guests to have a relaxing, dining experience and so pre-booking is required in order to help us space our tables whilst keeping the ambiance. Anthony’s is the place to unwind with a cool beer on a summer’s day, warm up with an Irish coffee in front of a stove fire on a chilly night or to relax and revive over a home-cooked meal after a day’s adventure. Coffee Dock & Artisan Picnics: The Coffee Dock is located at the Doolin Inn reception and serves Barista Coffees with local Anam Coffee, pastries, and light snacks to eat in or take away. It is ideal for those early birds out for a morning stroll or catching the ferry to the Aran Islands, and it’s the earliest place open in the area. You can also pick up a local artisan picnic or packed lunch for your day’s adventure in the Burren. Covid-19 Safety Response - Old traditions in a new world. We look forward to welcoming you to relax and enjoy our spacious 22 bedroom Inn with gardens in the centre of Doolin, overlooking the village and at the start of the Cliffs of Moher walk. Covid-19 has brought some new challenges, but we are determined more than ever to ensure that our guests’ enjoyment is enhanced, whilst we work a little harder behind the scenes to ensure your health and safety is paramount. We will continue to support eco-tourism & sustainability, support local businesses & food producers with a focus on local and sustainable produce, participate in local community initiatives as members of the Burren Ecotourism Network & Doolin Tourism, and commit to the Covid-19 Safety Charters set out by these networks, in line with WHO and HSE guidelines. View our Covid-19 Safety Response on our website. We may be out of hand’s reach, but we will be right beside you if you need anything. ~ Anthony, Deirdre, and the team
